Wednesday 13 interview!!!
Here we have an interview that was done by my very ghoul friend jamie,
he's such a darling and he has let me ut in on my site. *thank you darling*
1) Wednesday, what made you decide to do these six special tour dates
to promote the new album, Transylvania 90210?
We thought it would be a cool thing to be in the UK the week the record
was released and do instores and meet the fans. Instead of doing a full tour of the UK we picked these 6 places.
2)
Will the “April Ghouls” tour be a lot different from the “Look What The Bat Dragged In” tour?
I
try to do something different every tour. We have a new set list of course, with lots of songs from the new album and old
faves as well, new props, new stage backdrops and all kinds of other top secret stuff that I can't tell you about...James
Bond kind of stuff.
3)A lot of people know you’re a fan of horror movies. If you had to pick which one, what
would it be?
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
4)Did you know Ghastly, Kid-Kid and Pig previous to the tour?
Yeah,
I've known Kid for years we actually met in ‘95 and played in a band together for a while. We fell out of touch for
many years but started talking again when I was putting the finishing touches on the last FDQ record. I met Ghastly through
a good friend and we would hang out from time to time. Ghastly was the drum tech on my first solo tour and then became the
drummer for the band.
5)What’s your favorite song on the new album?
I like em all, but maybe Look
What The Bats Dragged In, Haunt Me, or I Walked With A Zombie are my faves at the moment.
6) What’s the
coolest thing a fan has given you?
I've got so much cool stuff from the fans all around the world. It's hard to say.
Most recently I got a european version of "The Return Of The Living Dead" soundtrack on vinyl. That was really cool being
that's one of my favorite movies and soundtracks of all time.
7) A lot of your fans are anticipating your new book,
The Thirteen Dead Kids. When will this be out?
I wish I had an answer. I went back and started working on it more after
I thought I was done. I keep adding to it, so honestly it could be a while though. I'm my own worst critic so I'm constantly
trying to improve it.
8)If you were given the chance to have dinner with your favorite movie star, dead or alive,
who would it be? Ed Wood for sure. He has been an inspiration to me. He was a film director/actor and his work ethic is
so similar to mine and I just related to him so much. Dinner with him would be really great.
9)Do you have any
other plans once the album is out? Can we expect a full Transylvania 90210 tour?
Oh yeah. I'm lining up dates all
over the world. No one is safe, the attack begins in April and continues through out the rest of the year.
